I get in such a happy mode right before and during Easter. Every year I buy collection of sweets to satisfy my Easter cravings. Adults are allowed get excited about Easter treats right? I also get to bring out my cute Easter décor from my cupboard which is so exciting.
For many years my favorite place to shop for Easter decor and sweets has been none other than Williams-Sonoma. Seems like every year they come out with hard to resist pieces for your Easter table. There’s always some adorable egg shaped, or bunny shaped candy dishes that I have to have.
To fill my candy dishes I usually get:
- Medici Almonds from France
- German Chocolate Egg Truffles
- Chocolate Malt Ball Eggs
All the candies are quite addictive and I buy enough to last me few months! I also used to purchase packages of ducky marshmallows but they don’t seem to sell them anymore! (they seem to be included with other candy in Easter mache egg set)
In addition to these candy dishes, my other favorite Williams-Sonoma purchase is the papier-mâché Easter eggs from Germany. They used to sell set of keepsake eggs that came in three sizes, but these days you can only purchase one that’s filled with Easter sweets. I absolutely love the vintage-inspired motifs of bunnies and chicks dancing, playing music and doing other festive things. I already have quite a few, but this year I couldn’t resist and bought myself another egg which was filled with chocolate bunny and other yummy candy. Who can resist a chocolate bunny laughing away like that? Can’t wait for next year’s Williams-Sonoma’s Easter collection.
