Fortnum & Mason Advent Calendar

This beautiful tea-themed advent calendar is from Fortnum & Mason and not only does this make a great holiday décor, but you get a wonderful collection of Fortnum & Mason teas to cherish and enjoy this holiday season!

Advent Calendar for Tea Lovers!

There are so many beautiful advent calendars these days and I was shopping around for one when I found a perfect one from Fortnum & Mason! Being a tea lover, this piece was a must have so I ordered it straight away from Fortnum & Mason site and it was shipped to me from UK. When I unboxed it, I was not disappointed! Quality of this wooden calendar is what I would expect from Fortnum & Mason. Not only do I love the teapots and teacups decoration, I also love the tea canister-shaped door knobs. Too cute!

Tea Advent Calendar Makes a Beautiful Décor!

Cranberry color of this piece fits perfectly with my holiday décor and even enhance the floral arrangements around it. It’s not overly large or heavy so it doesn’t overwhelm space in your home (For reference, calendar dimensions are 15″ x 18¼” x 3½”). If it weren’t for the numbered compartments, I think it can easily pass as a decorative tea cabinet.

Fantastic Assortment of Teas

You’ll find mini tea canister that holds 25 grams of tea inside each compartment. You get wonderful assortment of teas which is enough to last you this holiday season and beyond. They made sure to include classics like Darjeeling, Ceylon, Earl Grey, and Assam, but also included are several green teas, and flavored teas. There are teas I have never tried like “Victoria Grey“, “Queen Anne” “Explorer’s Blend” and “Ever So English Albion Blend” so I’m really looking forward to trying all of them!

Spode Teacup & Sadler Teapot

This season, I’ll be enjoying my Fortnum & Mason teas with my Spode teacup and Sadler teapot. I seem to reach for my Spode Pink Tower teacup often during fall and winter. Color of this pattern is more red than pink but still so pretty and you can mix and match with Spode’s other fall/winter themed patterns. I like to match it with my Delamere Brown pieces like I did in my Pear Slab Pie post!

I also love my Charles Dickens themed Sadler teapot. Sadler teapots from UK are highly collectible and come in many patterns and designs. If you’re Dickens fan and also a tea lover, you can search for vintage pieces, specifically their Charles Dickens series online on Replacements and Etsy.
