Beyond the Leaf collection from Ahmad Tea is a perfect tea to enjoy on a spring afternoon. For two days in a row I finally got some beautiful spring weather this week and I’m determined to bask in flowers, sunshine and fragrant cups of tea.

Garden Afternoon Tea
I discovered Ahmad Tea when I was browsing around my local World Market last week. I was not familiar with this company but according to company website, they are based in UK and has been in business for 35 years. What really caught my eye was the range of tea they produced in collaboration with Kew Royal Botanic Gardens! This collection includes Elegant Earl Grey, Splendid Ceylon, Majestic Breakfast, and Garden Afternoon and I decided to give it a try mainly because they also come as loose-leaf tea and not just tea bags which is a huge plus!
I ended up purchasing Garden Afternoon which is a blend of Assam, Kenya and Ceylon leaves. When I brewed a pot, I was pleasantly surprised by how fragrant this tea was! It’s also very affordable, compared to teas I have from other European tea companies and this is definitely something I’ll stock in my cupboard!

Spring-Themed Tea Set
When you have gorgeous spring day, pretty flowers and good tea, enjoy the moment with pretty tea things. Ok, my Villeroy & Boch is actually a small coffee pot, but this vintage pot is still perfect for tea! Geranium pattern has been discontinued, but I think this is still one of Villeroy & Boch‘s most well known patterns. My vintage teacup on the other hand is Fresh Herbs by Ginori, which is my all time favorite Italian manufacturer. Ginori is usually known for their porcelain tableware, but Fresh Herbs collection is ceramic. I love all kinds of herbs and love different herbs all around the teacup. This is also a discontinued collection and it’s hard to find, but I check my usual sites like Replacements, Ebay, and Etsy to see if I can snag pieces to add to my collection!
